Many IB Aspirant facing problem to fill form and payment process for IB ACIO 2017.   there is good news for all how not fill form. MHA extended last date to apply form 10.9.2017.

Ministry Of Home Affairs(MHA), Intelligence Bureau has released the notification last month for filling the vacancies for the 1430 posts for the Assistant Intelligence Officer in Grade II / Executive. It is a Group C post which is Non Gazetted and Non – Ministerial. The last date to apply for the post of IB ACIO 2017 has been extended to 10th September 2017

There are Tier I and Tier II examinations followed by Interview. The candidates will be shortlisted for further process of final selection subject to successful completion of their Character and Antecedent verification followed by Medical Examination.

  • TIER I : Objective Type MCQ Written Examination
  • TIER II : Descriptive Type Written Examination


Mode of Examination : Offline Examination.

Total Marks : 100 Marks.

Duration of the Examination : 60 Minutes.

Note :

  • There will be negative marking for the wrong answers and 1/4 th of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answers.
  • No marks will be awarded / deducted for any non attempted questions in this examination.
  • Those who clear the examination with the specific marks mentioned by IB will take the Tier II examination.

  • Only those candidates would be called for Tier – II exam who come up to a certain standard in Tier – I. For Tier – II examination, there will be a minimum cut off marks of 33%.


Candidates will be shortlisted to interview based on their performance in Tier I and Tier II examinations. Based on the combined performance in Tier I , Tier II and Interview , the candidates would be shortlisted for final selection subject to successful completion of their Character and Antecedent verification followed by Medical Examination. Clearing in all these things are mandatory.
